I probably wouldnt go to the Vineyard at all if it was up to me, but the house there is big enough for huge family reuinion, and thats where it is this year. Last year we chartered 120 ft. boat and did the inland passage in Alaska. That was fun. Next year we are doing the same boat, but in Sea of Cortez.
I did fish the Sound a bit, also the Bay. Targeted blues, stripers, tautog, and flounder. I used to really enjoy scalloping back before Waquoit Bay got ruined.
Believe it or not, I have never been on the Andros boats. They dont have one down here in TCI. There are several Central Amercian pangas here, a couple pangamarines, and I have looked at them and talked with some of the owners.
I was convinced I wanted a Tortuga last year, and with a whole lot of investigation and thought, I felt the Permit 22 was the best choice for what I do here. We spend a whole lot of time on and under the water, year round.
I dont fish for the bones, but they are all over the place down here.
