Ran the Panga for a good while today & the throttle keeps creeping back.I've always had Yamahas & don't know how to adjust the Merc,I need to know how to tighten it up.

dont know about merc but i'm sure it's the same as the rest. The there is a cap or cover that will cover a nut at the pivot point of the throttle arm. remove the cap and tighten the nut. you dont have to tighten too much. its best to do on the water so you can adjust so that the tension is just right too much will stiffent the throttle.
