After 6 months of design with the same group that did the Tarpon 26 we feel we have reached the perfect offshore go fast fishing machine. With a draft of 15" and variable deadrise to 18 we belive that this fuel efficient monster will be exaxtly what the kingfish and offshore guys have been waiting for. We took the ideas of the s-shear from some of the more well known sportfishers and married it with the upswept bow and straked hull for the ultimate look and dry ride. Here are some of the stats. 33 loa 9'2" beam weight - about 6500lbs - just the hull - 7500 once rigged and wired optimum hp 400-500 there is a single diesel option in the works with cummins and also a second deck cap option with a forward cabin there is 2 currently on the waiting list for this vessel which is slated to be complete in early summer. Stop by the Andros Lamination Facility in Early January to see the boat in prototyping.

It looks like just about every other traditional boat on the market, though. It looks like a nice boat, but it certainly doesn't look to be influenced much by the panga design.... The dimensions are in-line with most other traditional style boats (i.e. Contender 31 - is 32'6" LOA, and 9'4" beam)...
What influences from the panga design are incorporated in the boat? (other than the straked hull? - the bow doesn't appear to be very upswept, honestly).

only the look of the shear has changed from the panga ideal.
running surface, wetted surface, running surface entry, weight, strakes, are all very similar to the panga. It's bottom is very similar to the old merc panga.
